Commissioned by Berkelland local authority in Gelderland, Blommaert built 2 mobile sliding roofs for recycling and sand storage.
These products are stored by the local authority and then resold. Keeping the materials dry ensures that the local authority can offer them to the market at a higher value.
A total of four bays consisting of Legioblock® interlocking concrete blocks were covered over. One sliding roof consisting of three hatches for every two bays. The bays can be opened and closed fully electrically powered.
Blommaert carried out this entire project from the first discussions with the customer to complete assembly.
